The app runs in the background at all times as you walk around. Obviously you can stop the app at any time if you no longer want to count your steps or even restart the count. From the main menu in Pedometer Step Counter you can view a complete chart showing all the steps you take in a day.

● Because of the device power saving processing, some devices stop counting steps when the screen is locked.
● Steps tracker is not available for devices with older versions when their screen is locked. It's not a bug. We are sorry to say that we are not able to solve this problem.
