File Go for Android updated with faster offline sharing, file extraction and share tab

File Go is Google's storage manager app that helps Android users free up their device space, find files quickly, and share files with nearby people. Google's File Go was initially launched for use in developing nations, but it was so well-received that it was eventually released worldwide.
Now Google has added more functionalities in File Go App to improve its offline sharing functionalities.

Earlier, Files Go was capable of transferring files directly between devices with speed up to 125 Mbps without using mobile data, as long as both devices have the app installed and connected via Wi-Fi.
After the update, the app can now transfer files offline with speed up to 455 Mbps which is nearly 4 times the previous speed.

File Go now supports extracting files in ZIP format. To work with zipped files, they must be unzipped or extracted first.

To extract the file, users will get a confirmation prompt to extract files organized by category.

Another update includes a "Share tab" to send and receive videos, pictures, apps and more.

The Share Tab can be seen at the bottom of the screen along with Clean and Browse tabs.

File Go already has integrated functionalities with Google Photos. It automatically prompts users once all videos or photos taken are backed up, followed by a suggestion to delete the files to generate more storage space.
Files Go App also helps you manage storage on a micro SD card. You can even now transfer, receive and manage files on an Android tablet using the Files Go app.
