To add more fun to your online shopping, Instagram now lets you shop your favorite brands within your Instagram Story.

For example, if you see a person wearing sunglasses in a Story and you just want it to be yours, you can directly purchase by just clicking on the Shopping Bag icon attached to the sunglasses with a purchase link "See Details".The link will then take you to the vendor's website without leaving the Instagram App.
As of now, this feature is in the testing phase and only available for selected brands like Adidas, Aritzia, and Louis Vuitton.

Instagram has over 800 million daily active users and more than 300 million Stories are published on the app daily.
Instagram Stories shopping is surely going to get tough competition from Snapchat, which allows direct shopping from Snapchat lenses.
