Hexar.io is a game where you have to try to conquer the greatest possible area on a map – and to do it you need to compete against other players online. The key is to try to manage the perfect balance between attacking new areas and defending your current territory.

In Hexar.io you play a tiny sphere you move by touching the screen and sliding your finger around slightly. While moving, your sphere leaves behind a semitransparent trail that materializes when you touch your color again. To destroy an opponent, just tap the trail they leave behind.

The more territory you conquer, the more points you get. That said, the downside of having a large area is that the other players will try to conquer it and the larger it is, the harder it is to defend the whole thing. Fortunately, if you run into another player INSIDE your territory, you'll kill him.

Hexar.io is a highly entertaining game that perfects the concept of the '.io' games. Like all games of this type, it also comes with dozens of different skins to unlock as you play.
